Wild scenes took place in an asylum seeker center in Lower Austria. Because his ‘inner voice’ persuaded a resident to do gymnastics and boxing training in the middle of the night, he incurred the displeasure of another refugee. A fight broke out.
Too much is too much. The resident of a refugee home in the Lilienfeld district thought so too. Because loud noises echoed down from the top floor again and again at night. Because there were also children sleeping downstairs, the man had had enough.
“Please be a little quieter”
He marched up the stairs and wanted to ask the loud Syrian to be quieter. He was currently in the middle of gymnastics and boxing training. As he later told police, “inner voices” had advised him to exercise late at night. And he didn’t want to let that stop him. He attacked the other asylum seeker, leaving him with a black eye and a bloody nose. However, the victim refused to go to the hospital. The criminal was then denied access to the building and taken to another area.
There was also a police action in an asylum seeker’s house in Hague in the Amstetten district. There, an alcoholic Ukrainian beat his ex-wife and threatened her several times, despite a ban on entering the building. He was sent away again.
