A dispute between a couple and a 41-year-old in Weer in the Tyrolean district of Schwaz completely escalated on Tuesday evening: the latter was attacked and injured during the altercation that took place on a small bridge. The resident had to be taken to hospital. Everyone involved was drunk.
The scene of the altercation was a pedestrian bridge leading over the Weerbach. There, the three people involved – a German (42) living in Tyrol, a local woman of the same age and the 41-year-old Austrian – got into an argument shortly after 10 p.m.
Crack-crush wounds on the head
The 41-year-old suffered injuries. “Tear crush wounds on the head and face,” a police spokeswoman describes when asked by “Krone”.
Suspicious duo fled
A neighbor heard screams and immediately rushed to help the injured man. The two suspects then ran away, it was said.
Couple caught, everyone involved drunk
The 41-year-old eventually received first aid from the emergency services and was taken to Schwaz hospital. The fugitive couple was identified during investigation.
