Eleven years ago, Hannah* shared what her father—a kindergarten teacher—had done to her. Only now does the man appear in court.
The scandal surrounding a kindergarten teacher as a child molester is spreading. Because the “Krone” now has documents that prove that in 2011 (!) there were already the first suspicions against the recreation educator. His own young daughter, Hannah, now 17, accused the father of the police.
File Notes – and not much else
She is not believed, her allegations are dismissed as sky dreams in a war of roses. The father then receives custody despite the statements. This was repeated in 2015 when Hannah again reported sexual abuse. And also in 2017. Even before a lawyer, the girl describes that her father took unwanted photos of her. The lawyer forwards the statements, there are notes in the files – and not much else.
hoarded child porn
It wasn’t until Christmas 2018 that the handcuffs clicked for the father when he was the target of the child pornography investigators. He was convicted twice and quickly released. And is now in custody again because videos of abuse of Hannah and another girl have been secured after an anonymous tip.
According to prosecutor Markus Kitz, the suspect has announced that the trial for serious sexual abuse will take place in two weeks. How is this with Hanna? “My child is broken,” her mother says. “Hannah was a happy, smart girl – today she has developmental disabilities in all areas. A lot of times she doesn’t wash because she thinks it’s her protective shield – if you stink, you won’t be attacked.”
“He was the popular kindergarten teacher”
She has no faith in the authorities and not even in the judiciary. After all, no one would have helped her for years. “We were the liars,” Hannah’s mother said bitterly. “He was the popular kindergarten teacher.” Who, despite six previous convictions (!) and suspicion of pedophilia, had taken care of children in a municipal facility. He now faces a long prison term. His lawyer emphasizes that the client “has been working on himself therapeutically successfully during his incarceration”. Hannah’s therapy takes longer. There is no healing, only relief. “Her room is like her soul: black,” they say.
