Heavy rain, thunder and lightning dominated the weather in Carinthia on Thursday evening. The fire brigades from the Klagenfurt-Land district therefore had to take large-scale action. The roof structure of a residential building in Ludmannsdorf caught fire because lightning had previously struck the roof.
130 emergency services from a total of five fire brigades were deployed and fought against the flaming inferno. Around 11:15 p.m., emergency services managed to completely extinguish the fire. The roof was temporarily covered with a tarpaulin. Fortunately, no one was injured.
