Over the past few days we have had a series of delays, cancellations and, in general, changes, in some airports Spanish and other European countries, the sector reports.
Faced with this situation, the OCU explained to eitb.eus what steps a person should take in this situation.
File a claim with AENAif possible at an airport counter so they can arrange it faster.
-If for some reason it is not possible, it can also be offered on the web form they enabled to submit claimsor by regular mail (Aena, Operations, Security and Services Department. Airport Services Division C/ Peonías, 1228042 Madrid).
-Provide proof that if they were not at the gate and missed the flight, it was for reasons beyond their control.
-To do this, the OCU recommends providing the taxi ticket, public transport ticket or airport car park proving the time of arrival, as well as photos showing the day and time in some way.
As indicated by AENA on its website, the claim must consist of the following elements:
-Dates.
-Reservation number.
-People you’ve talked to.
-Copy of the relevant information.
-Your contact details so that they will answer you in the shortest possible time.
