While driving into Bregenzer Rheinstrasse on Sunday evening, a 44-year-old driver who wanted to continue from the Stadstunnel towards Switzerland collided with the car of a 45-year-old. The woman, who was standing at the traffic light, suffered minor injuries because her side airbag was deployed.
When the driver wanted to turn towards Switzerland around 10:45 p.m., he lost control of his vehicle and drifted too quickly to the left in the bend. As a result, he rammed the car of the 45-year-old, who was standing at the traffic lights and wanted to drive straight towards Bregenz train station.

While the woman suffered minor injuries, a child (7), who was also in the car, escaped in horror. The person who caused the accident and his passenger were uninjured. Both cars were significantly damaged. The road was closed for a short time so the cars could be recovered.
