The Bundeswehr’s special forces unit, the Jagdkommando, is one of the most effective forces in the world. The skills of the local soldiers are now being showcased in a documentary on Netflix and compared to other top units.
In the series ‘Toughest Forces on Earth’, three elite soldiers try to master the tasks of the fighter commando. There will be one soldier each from the US Army, British Special Forces and US Navy Seals.
Under the leadership of the local elite unit, they carry out actions under extreme circumstances: from a terrorist attack in high-alpine terrain, climbing a steep wall to taking hostages in a nuclear power plant. The exercises were carried out on water, on land and from the air. It was filmed in Styria and Lower Austria.

The Fighter Command is the special operations force of the federal army. It consists of specially trained and equipped soldiers. They operate under the most difficult terrain and weather conditions and in extremely dangerous situations. Their duties include special reconnaissance, evacuation operations and combative search and rescue.
