The possibility of regime change is an option, but protests have always been suppressed. The other possibility is that the regime is torn apart internally. “You wouldn’t believe how much jealousy there is among the top mullahs. This will be the moment of truth.”
Every power struggle that has taken place in every new position in Iran for thirty years has undermined the authority of the regime: “The people have settled there. The people and the regime live side by side in different worlds.”
