A tragic accident occurred on a farm in Oberdrum in East Tyrol around lunchtime on Tuesday. A 73-year-old was killed. The accident raises some mysteries.
The accident happened around 12 noon. A local man (73) wanted to remove a winch from the back of his tractor. To do this, he reversed the vehicle into the shed and placed a Euro pallet with rollers under the winch.
Caught between the tractor and the winch
The serious incident occurred when the cable winch was subsequently lowered. “For reasons that are still unclear, the 73-year-old became trapped between the tractor and the winch,” a police officer explained to the “Krone”. The man suffered fatal injuries. All help came too late.
