A case before the Innsbruck Regional Court has once again shown how quickly affection can turn into hatred. Particularly brutal: a German (40) living in Tyrol is said to have published fake profiles including nude photos of his sex partner on Facebook and Instagram.
The suspect didn’t want to talk about love when he recalled his time together with an indigenous South American woman. “Our relationship has just been reduced to sex,” the 40-year-old emphasized.
Reason for defamation unclear
The suspect was unable or unwilling to answer why he then stalked his alleged playmate on the Internet, published fake profiles with a nude photo and continually tried to tell her family that she was a prostitute.
At least it wasn’t out of jealousy. “After several arguments, I wanted to get one over her,” the trained chef explained.
Fine with few regrets
Ultimately, he admitted that he had overshot his goal. “To some extent I regret what I did,” but there was little sign of remorse. Judgment not legally binding: fine of 5,000 euros – half conditional.
