Report filed – Roma transit point becomes a matter for the financial police

Date:

As there have been increasing indications recently that transients who camped for months on the B1 in Pichling, Upper Austria, could be doing illegal work with the help of local companies, Linz’s FP security council member Michael Raml has now filed a complaint against unknown persons to bring the tax authorities to the scene.

As reported, the first caravan teams arrived at the Sinti & Roma transit point on the B1 in Pichling earlier this year than ever before: on January 13. And despite the winter closure, the group even accepted that Linz AG refused to supply them with electricity.

Why the traveling people had already arrived in January this year and especially why the group spent an unusually long time at Lake Pichlinger – almost four months instead of the usual three weeks per stay – can only be guessed, because several attempts at the “ crown” attempts to talk to the people there were unsuccessful. However, insiders claim to have long discovered why the latter – for whom the presumption of innocence applies – did not leave for so long.

Raw amounts of chlorine consumed
Like last year, huge amounts of blue gas cylinders had been accumulating in the area almost every day for the past few months. The contents found in the remaining jerry cans: chlorine – hazardous substances class 8 – which can be used to combat algae in swimming pools, but also to clean facades.

“Collaboration” with local companies
Also interesting, according to information from some space enthusiasts: small cars with LL license plates were increasingly mixed among the group’s campers. A circumstance that would have brought the investigators to the scene anyway.

Security officer filed a report
Nevertheless, FP City Councilor for Security Michael Raml has now contacted the tax authorities with a statement of facts, asking the authority to assess the case for its relevance to the financial police.
