“It was horrible!” Jim P. from Mönchhof has a hard time with his memories of the horror night exactly a week ago. While the landlord in the apartment was in bed behind his bar, three cheeky burglars woke him up.
Victim nearly suffocated
The robbers, some of whom were masked, jumped the shocked man and pushed him down. “Jimmy”, who suffers from a muscle disease, was – as reported – in acute shortness of breath. The victim gasped, P. nearly choked.
His nurse, who was in an adjoining room, saw the desperate struggle for survival. When she wanted to help P., the criminals beat her down, the woman explained. The trio escaped with jewelry and money from a furniture safe, the proceeds of Jim’s Gösser-Stüberl and the nurse’s handbag.
Lots of money looted
The robbery is still a mystery to investigators. The amount of damage is fixed. The burglars stole no less than 9,000 euros.
