Sad news from the Innsbruck clinic: the pensioner (78) who was found seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon at the recycling center in Stans (Schwaz district) has now died.
On Tuesday afternoon around 4:15 p.m., the 78-year-old was found under the metal stairs near the bulky waste container. Those present immediately provided first aid and started the rescue chain.
Life-threatening injuries
Due to the circumstances there, the police assumed it was a fatal fall. The local man was taken to the clinic in Innsbruck with life-threatening injuries.
Unfortunately, the doctors could no longer help the man. As the police announced on Thursday, the 78-year-old died on Wednesday.
