Serious accident in St. Oswald near Freistadt: In one careless second, a toddler slipped so badly that he grabbed into a hot soup pot.
A 33-year-old from St. Oswald was cooking dinner around noon Friday. Her one and a half year old daughter was standing on a higher spot next to the kitchen island. When the toddler suddenly slid down, he tried to support himself.
Second degree burns
He stuck his entire right arm into the hot soup pot. After receiving first aid, the child was flown to the Linz Children’s Hospital with the rescue helicopter “Christophorus 10” in the presence of her mother. Second-degree burns were found there.
