Due to a cornering maneuver by the 25-year-old driver, the 40-year-old suffered his injuries at the scene of the accident in Gnas. The young woman was probably blinded by the evening sun.
The 40-year-old was riding his motorcycle in Gnas on Saturday evening when the accident occurred shortly after 5pm. The trigger: a 25-year-old driver was driving on the L 212 in the direction of St. Stefan im Rosenthal and decided to turn around.

She turned onto a straight stretch of road to turn her car around on either side at a bus stop. She probably overlooked the motorcycle handlebars because of the low sun. The 40-year-old hit the side of the car and fell. The emergency doctor did everything he could to save the man’s life, but he died at the scene of the accident.
