In Lorüns (Vorarlberg), a 33-year-old was seriously injured on Saturday: he fell from the hood of a tractor and then ended up under the rolling vehicle.
The tractor owner was sitting on the hood while a 22-year-old was driving the vehicle and trailer uphill on Raggalerstrasse (L88). As he was driving onto a truck path, the 33-year-old fell off the hood and was run over by the tractor’s rear tire. The man suffered serious rib fractures.
Negligent bodily injury
He was taken to Feldkirch Hospital, police said. The 33-year-old was able to get onto the tractor on his own earlier. The woman then drove a few meters further. She will be reported to the Bludenz district administration for “various administrative violations” and to the Feldkirch public prosecutor’s office on suspicion of bodily harm through negligence, the report said.
