At least three people were injured, two of them seriously, in a knife attack on a metro in the city of Lyon in southeastern France on Sunday. According to French media, the suspect has been arrested.
As the regional newspaper ‘Le Progrès’ wrote in response to police circles, the suspect is said to be a 27-year-old man. He is said to have been treated for psychological problems in the past.
Two of the victims were reportedly injured in the stomach and the third in the arm. As the radio station France Info reported, citing the public prosecutor’s office, an investigation into attempted intentional murder was opened.
