Hill walking is a popular pastime that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. It’s a great way to explore nature, get some fresh air and exercise. Since our readers also like to travel and provide us with photos of their excursions, today we would like to present you the most beautiful entries on the subject of mountains:
There is certainly no shortage of mountains in Austria and the name “Land of the Mountains” is certainly deserved. That this is also the case is evident from the many submissions from readers. Today’s cover photo comes from reader reporter Thomas M., who sent us this beautiful panorama from the Kremstal in Upper Austria, taken on a wonderfully sunny day.
Unterberg in Lower Austria
We owe this beautiful photo to reader reporter Brigitte L. She took it as a thank you to her former therapist and shows the Unterberg in Lower Austria, which she loves so much. A great photo!
Dead mountains reflected
We continue with a beautiful panoramic photo from reader reporter Christian H. In the background you can see the Totes Gebirge, which is reflected in the crystal clear Almsee, which can be seen in the foreground. A dreamlike picture that you must first realize!
Mountain lake
The next entry also invites you to dream and wonder when you will finally go to the mountains again. Here we see a photo by reader reporter Christoph Z. showing a small, crystal clear mountain lake in Tyrol and the mountain panorama in the background.
Super moon and ridge top
We received a truly fascinating photo from reader reporter Sibel Z. A supermoon can be seen here and the top of the ridge is illuminated by the last rays of the sun. You can’t get enough of these kinds of photos, I would love to see more of them.
Send us your best mountain photos by email to readerreporter@krone.at with the subject “Mountain” or fill in the form below. We look forward to your submissions!
