Drug test – police officer was ordered to conduct his own investigation

Date:

What came to light on the second day of the trial in Wels against a police officer and his ‘ex’, who had ordered addictive drugs on a large scale on the internet, was almost something to laugh about. Because the so-called ‘black sheep’ would have been instructed by the unsuspecting boss to, as it were, conduct an investigation against himself.

The chance of success in the investigation seemed very high because the police officer lived in the same house as the recipient of an intercepted drug package. That is why Vöcklabruck’s command ordered the now 34-year-old to do the deed. The fact that he would use this to investigate himself and his then-partner was obviously not on the radar of his superiors.

The procedure was postponed
Ultimately everything was discovered and the couple, who according to the indictment, ordered at least two kilos of ‘speed’ and 100 grams of ecstasy, consumed them themselves or distributed them to friends, had to appear in court in Wels for the second time on Tuesday after the trial was postponed. .

Joints for sleep problems
Among the ‘customers’ was a colleague whose girlfriend allegedly gave the police officer ‘benzos’. The colleague’s order for the ‘honey mouse’ was via chat messages, and he also wanted something ‘to smoke’. During the investigation, messaging was assured and the orderer, who was still a civil servant and had occasionally taken joints ‘due to sleep problems’, escaped with a fine from the police disciplinary board. Moreover, the suspect, currently a suspended police officer, has not accepted payment for the goods.

The trial continues on July 18
Because no witness showed up on Tuesday, she is now wanted and the trial will continue on July 18. The couple risks a prison sentence of up to ten years – the presumption of innocence applies.
