In Austria, 5144 new corona infections have been registered in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Thursday). This equates to a 69.5 percent increase from Thursday’s value a week ago! There were exactly 3,035 new cases. In the current comparison period, five other people have died who were infected with the virus.
So far there are 4,280,049 positive test results in Austria. At 9:30 am, 18,687 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died across Austria and 4,221,650 had recovered. There are currently 431 patients in hospital treatment, 39 of whom are in intensive care units.

- Salzburg: 351
- Styria: 419
