The man who has committed several bomb attacks on a meeting house of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a supporter’s car in Styria since the summer of last year will probably be arrested. He was arrested in the Leibnitz district and questioned by investigators. At the same time, a large-scale operation with dismantlers is taking place in Graz; a suspicious car is searched for explosives.
A large police force is currently causing uncertainty in the city center of Graz: Elisabeth and Leonhardstrasse are closed off and traffic is at a standstill. The Styrian police also confirmed the large-scale operation.
The trigger? There is probably a suspicious object in the middle of the busy road. To clarify this, the streets were closed. Details are still unclear, more information will follow. The operation is said to be linked to the arrested murderer, who, according to investigators, was previously found in the Leibnitz district.
More information follows…
