A serious traffic accident occurred in Lower Austria on Friday afternoon. A 28-year-old and her two small children were seriously injured.
The 28-year-old’s car left the road on the rain-soaked road and crashed into a tree, Lower Austria’s state police said on Saturday.
The Lower Austrian drove on the highway from Schwadorf towards the Vienna Inn. Her children, ages one and three, were safely in the child seats in the back seat. All three were seriously injured in the collision and were taken to the Meidling Accident Hospital and Vienna’s Donauspital by two rescue helicopters and an ambulance.
