Fallen over a slope – The fire brigade rescued the calf

Date:

After training for the district competitions in Spittal an der Drau (Carinthia), the Flattach fire brigade was called for an operation on Saturday evening. A calf was in urgent need of help.

The fire district competitions will be held at the valley station of the Mölltaler Glacierbahnen this weekend. And to keep everything running smoothly, the Flattach-Fragant fire brigade held a rehearsal competition on Saturday. As this came to an end, a silent alarm suddenly sounded.

A calf had fallen over a steep slope and was unable to get back up without help. The comrades of the Flattach-Fragant volunteer fire brigade went out to rescue the calf together with the owner’s family. Fortunately, the animal was unharmed.
