Due to a disagreement, a man (59) attacked his wife (48) in an apartment in Vienna-Favoriten on Saturday afternoon.
At around 4.15 pm the situation between the two escalated after his partner (48) lent their son their car. Shortly afterwards, the suspect grabbed a glass bowl and threw it at the victim. He also threatened to kill his girlfriend.

The alerted police officers temporarily arrested the 59-year-old and issued him with an entry and approach ban, as well as a temporary weapons ban. He made no confession during interrogation. He is reportedly at large.
