Shortly after midnight on Thursday, police, fire and rescue services had to respond to an accident in Krumpendorf. The driver stated that he had dodged a rabbit and hit a parked car.
On Kärntner Straße in Krumpendorf, the 23-year-old from Klagenfurt swerved his car because he wanted to avoid a crossing rabbit. During the maneuver, the car collided with a car parked along the road.
The passenger (25) was injured in the accident and was taken to Klagenfurt hospital by ambulance. While the Krumpendorf fire brigade arrived with 14 men to secure and clear the accident scene, the police discovered that the driver of the accident did not have a driver’s license.
