A bystander intervened in a 37-year-old’s conversation with two women in Vienna-Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus on Thursday morning and behaved suggestively towards them. When their companion tried to reprimand the stranger, he allegedly stabbed him with a knife. Then the man fled.
The incident happened in Grangasse. When the companion of the two women asked the man not to do this, the unknown man suddenly pulled out a knife and injured him on his face and upper body. The perpetrator then ran away.
An immediate search turned up nothing. The victim received emergency medical care from the Vienna Professional Rescue Service and was taken to a hospital. Further investigations are underway.
