New letter received – Wutwirt reprimanded: “I don’t care about lawsuits”

Date:

The Equal Treatment Commission reprimands Carinthian rager Stefan Lercher after he no longer wanted to allow “vegans, hippies, environmentally friendly people and Arabs” into his restaurant – but he stands by his opinion.

With his campaign to no longer allow ‘vegans, hippies, ecos and Arabs’ in his restaurant, Millstätter Wutwirt Stefan Lercher became known far beyond the country’s borders (as we reported). He repeatedly received massive criticism for the racism scandal and was reported.

More than a year later, Upper Carinthia is now causing controversy again: the Equal Opportunities Commission is threatening further charges.

The most recent letter asks him to refer “clearly and permanently” to the Equal Treatment Act on his website and in messages on social media. He should also emphasize that no one is discriminated against because of their ethnicity and that those affected can contact the Equal Treatment Ombudsman.

“I certainly won’t do that, and the impending waves of lawsuits don’t interest me,” Lercher rages in an interview with the “Krone”. He wants to stick to his opinion in the future: “It is still my decision who comes to my restaurant. I certainly won’t put up with everything!”
