A cyclist had to deal with a pushy cow in Baden-Württemberg, Germany on Friday. The animal, which had escaped the owner, chased the cyclist into his yard and even walked down the stairs to the basement.
After the cow followed the cyclist home to Balingen, the man tried to get the pushy animal away. He got off his bike and went to the basement on his property. However, the animal calmly walked down the stairs – and made itself ‘at ease’ in the cellar.
When the police arrived, the cow was still in the cellar – and had already caused an estimated several hundred euros in damage.
Owner picked up cow
The owner of the animal has now been traced. Together with the officers, he drove the cow outside, where she was then loaded onto a car trailer.
According to police, the cow may have been seen on the school grounds before encountering the cyclist.
