According to police, a dispute between the 29-year-old and previously unknown perpetrators on a bench in Kärntnerstraße in Innsbruck probably escalated around 1:45 p.m. After the verbal argument, the attackers grabbed a beer bottle and hit the man.
Victim ended up in the clinic
He suffered significant injuries to his head and temple and was taken to Innsbruck University Hospital. An immediate police search for the perpetrators turned up nothing.
