Nine-year-old Valeriia from Döbeln in the German state of Saxony has been missing for a week. There are a large number of police looking for the girl from Ukraine. A body was discovered during the operation.
According to the police, a lifeless person was found in a forest near Döbeln on Tuesday afternoon. After the discovery, the emergency services cordoned off the area extensively. “It is currently being investigated whether the deceased was the nine-year-old girl from Döbeln who was previously wanted,” a police spokesperson said.
According to “Bild”, the Chemnitz Police Department and the crime scene group of the State Criminal Investigation Department are conducting the investigation in the area of the discovery site.
