Rural youth in the Tyrolean Zillertal are said to have chanted xenophobic slogans on Friday to the song “L’amour toujours” by Gigi D’Agostino. Now the DJ is speaking out and emphasizes that the incident must have occurred after he was on duty.
As reported, the “TT” has made the matter public. The chairman of the Rural Youth, Christoph Pirnbacher, regretted the incident to the medium and said he had no control. And he stressed that he was shocked and horrified by the cries of racism.
“The incident happened while I was away”
The DJ is now also exposed to enormous hostility. In an interview with the “Tiroler Krone” he emphasized that he was no longer there when the incident took place. “I worked from midnight to 2am. I played the song at 12:15. But then everything was still peaceful.” Shortly after 2 a.m., the technology also dismantled everything.
“The incident happened later, probably around four o’clock,” the DJ concludes.
