After a mother in Berlin allegedly threw her one-year-old child out of her third-floor apartment, the woman was temporarily admitted to a psychiatric institution due to indications of illness. The Public Prosecution Service in Berlin announced this.
There was “evidence of mental illness in the 40-year-old mother,” the report said.
The investigation is underway on suspicion of attempted murder with basic motives.

According to a report in the newspaper ‘Bild’, the woman had three minor children and an adult child and was overwhelmed.
Girl found in litter box
The little girl was found with serious injuries after falling into a litter box in front of a house in the Treptow-Köpenick district on the southeastern outskirts of Berlin. Police found the mother in the apartment and arrested her.
In addition to the mother, the police found a nine-year-old child in the apartment. It was handed over to the Youth Care Office.
