A roof fire in a residential building in Pertisau am Achensee ended lightly for the residents on Thursday. The cause of the fire is still unclear and an investigation is underway.
For reasons that are still unclear, a fire broke out in the residential building in the municipality of Achensee around 12:30 p.m. The roof structure of the building was affected.

Fortunately, the residents of the home, a 61-year-old local man and his wife (53), were able to leave the building unharmed. In total, approximately 90 emergency services from the fire brigades of Pertisau, Eben, Achenkirch and Jenbach ‘extinguished’ the fire at 2:20 p.m.
