During border patrol, police helicopter discovers cannabis plantation from the air

Date:

Nothing escapes the watchful eye of the police helicopter “Dragonfly”! Not even a freshly planted cannabis plantation near Kirschentheuer in Carinthia.

The helicopter was patrolling the border when the crew noticed something unusual on Thursday evening. A man planted cannabis plants in a corn field near Kirschentheuer. “Shortly afterwards, the man got into his car and drove away from the field,” police said.

The helicopter continued the aerial pursuit and led the alerted ground troops to the moving vehicle, who were able to stop the car. “18 cannabis plants were seized from 27-year-old Ferlacher’s car and in the field,” state police headquarters confirmed. He must now expect a report.
