More than 40 years after the unexplained death of a couple, Texas authorities have found their missing daughter.
“Baby Holly has been found alive and well and is now 42 years old,” Southwestern Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office said on Twitter. Now the authorities hope to provide clarity about the death of the parents.
Daughter grew up with another family
In 1981, the deceased couple was found in a wooded area near Houston. However, the bodies could not be identified until last year with modern technology. Holly was abandoned as a baby by two unidentified women at an Arizona church. She then grew up there in a family whose members are not involved in the criminal case.
