Vorarlberg speaks – “The theater remains a kind of last bastion”

Date:

Augustin Jagg is an integral part of Vorarlberg’s cultural scene. In an interview with Robert Schneider, he reveals, among other things, why he is still passionate about the theater.

There is routine activity in the KOSMOS Theater office. Two ladies sit behind their screen and take care of the daily necessities of running a theater. In the foyer there is a stage hand hanging flannel fabric from platforms. Augustin Jagg, who has been running KOSMOS with Hubert Dragaschnig for almost thirty years, glances at a freshly printed theater poster before offering me a seat. “It has to go and come, not come and go. That’s a big difference!”
