The North Korean leader also expressed his “full support and solidarity with the Russian government, military and people regarding the implementation of the special military operation in Ukraine to protect its sovereignty, security interests and territorial integrity.”
Kim added that the global situation is rapidly changing and Pyongyang is planning in this context strengthen its strategic ties with Moscow.
After the opening speech, the rest of the summit, which lasted about 90 minutes in total, was held behind closed doors.
