Serious traffic accident early Friday afternoon in Wörgl in Tyrol: A Bulgarian (53) drove his truck into a concrete pole at a company. The man was injured.
At around 1:15 p.m., the truck driver wanted to leave a business premises on the industrial estate in Wörgl with his truck and trailer. But for unknown reasons, the 53-year-old crashed head-on into a concrete bollard.
Taken to hospital with injuries
The Bulgarian was seriously injured and was rescued by the fire brigade in the driver’s cabin after receiving first aid from the emergency doctor and paramedics. “The man was then taken by ambulance to Kufstein Hospital,” police said.
