Three people have been killed in a stabbing in Belgium in a suburb of Leuven. After an emergency call, the police found three bodies with stab wounds in an apartment in Kessel-Lo on Saturday evening.
The apartment is occupied by a woman, her son and two of his friends. The dead are a 54-year-old woman, her 23-year-old son and a 47-year-old family friend.
It was initially unclear what exactly happened in the house in a suburb of the city of Leuven. According to the public prosecutor, one of the victims called the police on Saturday night and reported a knife attack.
Neighbors reported that the residents’ dog barked non-stop at night. Police cordoned off the area around the home for an investigation and circled a helicopter over the residential area.
