Horror act in Dornbirn! On Saturday, several young people tried to set fire to a 65-year-old patient in the courtyard of the city hospital. The search is now underway for the boys, between 15 and 16 years old.
According to police, the 65-year-old, who was attached to a mobile oxygen machine, was pushed by one of the youths. After a brief argument between the patient and the teenagers, one of them allegedly tried to light the tube that was clamped to the woman’s nose and supplied her with oxygen with a smoldering cigarette. The boy announced, “Let’s see if the witch burns.”
The police are calling witnesses
Luckily there was only a burn hole in the hose and no further damage or injury. The youths then ran away. Police are now looking for the three to four youths and are appealing for possible witnesses to contact Dornbirn city police on +43 5572 22200.
