Officers were called to the apartment in Kagran around 2:15 a.m. because there had been a relationship dispute between a woman (23) and her 38-year-old partner. The two women are also said to have become violent.
Arsenal of weapons discovered in apartment
The officers were able to immediately calm the situation and prohibited the 38-year-old from entering or approaching the apartment. But then the police officers made another discovery during their official act: several weapons – some of which were prohibited – and a practice hand grenade were hidden in the apartment.
Search was carried out immediately
According to the police, an explosives expert had to support the emergency services. During a search, other prohibited weapons, including a telescopic baton and a killer, were found and seized.
The woman knew nothing about guns
“The 23-year-old was temporarily arrested because she was unlawfully in possession of these weapons,” police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger said on Monday. During interrogation, the suspect also claimed not to know how the weapons ended up in the apartment. Further investigations are underway.
