Motorcycle accident – drunk, without a helmet and with his son (4) near the tank

Date:

It makes you spit up! A very drunk father was driving a motocross machine that was not registered for road use in a forest in Natternbach (Upper Austria). The fact that he wasn’t wearing a helmet can perhaps be shrugged off (“it’s your own fault”). The fact that he also brought his four-year-old son seems inexcusable!

The 37-year-old from Natternbach was sitting in a forest on Monday evening around 8:40 PM in his home community on a non-traffic motorcross motorcycle.

He let his four-year-old son ride with him near the fuel tank. While the man himself was not wearing a helmet, he had at least put a cross helmet on the child.

Son and father injured
While crossing a ditch, the father lost control of his machine. The result was a fall in which both the 37-year-old and the four-year-old were injured. Both had to be taken to hospital by the rescue team for checks.

Heavily drunk
An alcohol test on the driver of the accident yielded a frightening result: the apparently completely irresponsible man had a blood alcohol level of more than two per mille. He will now be reported to the Public Prosecution Service and the district administration.
