Fatal accident Tuesday morning in Pertisau on Lake Achensee in Tyrol: a 73-year-old local woman was rammed by a golf cart driven by a holidaymaker. The elderly woman was seriously injured as a result of the collision.
The strange and especially serious accident took place around 8:45 am. A 47-year-old Briton reversed his golf cart on Kirchstrasse in Pertisau (Schwaz district), police said.
Take an emergency helicopter to the hospital
“As a result, a collision occurred with a 73-year-old pedestrian. The woman suffered serious injuries to her leg in the accident,” investigators continued.
After receiving first aid at the scene of the accident, the pensioner was flown to the Schwaz district hospital by an alerted rescue helicopter.
