Three days after the brutal attack on a Kosovar man (21) on a platform at Bischofshofen train station, the police intervened: four of the seven suspects were arrested, three others are on the run. The age of the young criminals: between 16 and 19 years old.
The “Krone” had reported on the violent act: a Kosovan man became the victim of a gang of young criminals. Seven initially unknown perpetrators hit the 21-year-old with punches and kicks. So cruel that he remained unconscious and was later discovered by a train driver.
The victim even fell into an artificial deep sleep for a short time, but has since woken up and, given the circumstances, is on the mend. Immediately after the crime, the investigation into the perpetrators began: through secure surveillance images, police officers were able to identify the suspects known to the authorities;
Three perpetrators abroad
The Public Prosecution Service issued seven arrest warrants: four suspects were quickly arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. There are two Austrians (both 16), a Slovenian (18) and a Turk (19). Three other suspects are wanted (two Serbs and a Bosnian, aged 16, 17 and 19 respectively). Detectives suspect that they have fled abroad.
The director also suspects that several suspects committed a robbery in Bischofshofen on June 9, also on a 21-year-old who was traveling with three friends.
