– Attempted coup in Bolivia: The attempted coup in Bolivia fails and the military chief of the Bolivian army, Juan José Zúñiga, who led the uprising, is fired. Zuñiga, together with a group of armed soldiers, took Plaza Murillo with tanks and broke down the door of the Casa Grande del Pueblo, the headquarters of the Bolivian executive branch. After his capture, Zuñiga accused President Arce of ordering the military operation to “increase his popularity”.

– Interview with Lehendakari Pradales: Tonight EiTB offers the first interview with the recently inaugurated new Lehendakari Imanol Pradales. It will be live, from Ajuria Enea, at 8:30 PM ETB1 and at 9:30 PM. Both broadcasts can be followed on eitb.eus and EITB Nahieran. End of the strike at Bilbobus: The indefinite strike that Bilbobus employees have been engaged in since April 9 has been called off after the employees said yes to the provisional agreement that the UGT, CCOO and USO unions signed with the employers and that ELA and LAB rejected. A total of 527 employees out of approximately 650 employees expressed their opinion on this preliminary agreement: 332 votes in favor, 186 against, 6 zero votes and 3 blank votes.
