Unknown burglars were up to mischief in the Tyrolean Oberland on Friday evening: the perpetrators forced their way into a swimming pool kiosk and stole money. By the time the alert police arrived, the crooks had long since gone into hiding.
Around 1:30 am, the burglary of the swimming pool kiosk was reported to the police in Imst. “When the patrol arrived, the unknown perpetrators had already left the crime scene,” investigators said.
An immediate search, in which additional patrols took part, was ultimately unsuccessful.
More than 1000 euros stolen
According to the police, the burglars stole more than 1,000 euros in cash during their nightly coup. Further investigation is ongoing to identify the perpetrators. Possible witnesses must come forward.
Any useful information or suspicious observations can be reported to the Imst police station on telephone number: 059 133/7100.
