“We are a kind of insider tip. It is simply beautiful here, but not everyone knows that.” Simon Wallner is the mayor of the municipality of Obertrum in the Salzburger Land. The small town north of the city of Salzburg has a population of just under 5,000. Among them is the current favourite of all Austrian football fans: team boss Ralf Rangnick. The German has moved into an apartment on the Obertrumersee. And you have to feel at home there straight away. “Everyone is welcome here, but of course we are incredibly proud that the team boss likes it so much in Obertrum and has settled here,” Wallner explains.
