At around 16:45, the local woman was on the B173 in the municipality of Söll towards Kufstein. “The driver was busy with the hands-free system and was distracted for a moment,” according to the police. As a result, she was unable to stop in time and ended up against the back of a car that had stopped in front of her because of traffic. This car was then pushed into another car.

Three people between the ages of 25 and 27 were seriously injured in the rear-end collision and were taken to the Kufstein district hospital by ambulance after initial treatment. “Two vehicles were completely destroyed and one vehicle was seriously damaged,” the director said.
