Since Sunday around 11:00 there has been no trace of 64-year-old Helga W. Since then the emergency services have tried everything and searched the kilometer-wide area in the Almtal. On Tuesday evening the operation had to be stopped again, without result. On Wednesday morning the search will continue.
On Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., police, mountain rescue services and fire brigades again carried out a large-scale search operation in the Almtalerhütte and Welserhütte area for 64-year-old Helga W. A total of around 50 troops from Libelle Upper Austria, Grünau Mountain Rescue, Steyrling Mountain Rescue, the Grünau fire brigade, AEG Gmunden officials, police dogs and the mobile operations center were deployed.

The operation was cancelled after checking several tips without success. The extensive search will resume on Wednesday morning by police, mountain rescue and fire brigade.
