A courageous animal rescue took place this weekend in Wilhelmsburg in the St. Pölten district. Because at dusk the local fire brigade was called to the Mühlgasse. Then the emergency services found a beaver in distress. The rodent was helplessly stuck under a railing and could not get any further. The helpers also noticed that the “unlucky” one had sustained injuries.
